By car

If you enter Switzerland with your own car, you are required to have a vignette (vehicle sticker). You must also have a visibility vest in your car.

  • Travelling from Germany (Stuttgart)
    At the Stuttgart–Vaihingen motorway junction, take the A831 direction München / Heilronn / Singen. At the Kreuz Stuttgart motorway junction, change from the A831 to the A81 (Singen / Böblingen / Sindelfingen) direction Schaffhausen (Switzerland). In Schaffhausen, take the A4 direction Zürich. At the Zürich-Ost motorway junction, exit the A4 in the direction of the A11 Zürich-City / Chur / Luzern. Drive through Zürich. At the Zürich-Wiedikon approach, take the A3 direction Chur / Luzern / Gotthard / San Bernardino. Leave the A3 at the Horgen exit in the direction of Zug / Hirzel. You will be on the Zugerstraße. Take the A4a in Neuheim (Sihlbrugg Dorf). At the Biegi exit, take the A4 direction Luzern / Gotthard / Aarau / Cham. Leave the A4 at the Brunnen-Nord exit in the direction of Gotthard / Lugano / Altdorf and follow the national highway toward Morschach.
  • Travelling from Germany (Munich)
    In Munich, take the A96 direction Stuttgart / Lindau and enter Austria. At the Hörbranz-Lochau motorway junction, change to the A14 direction Switzerland. In Switzerland, take the A13 direction Chur / Sargans. At the Sarganserland motorway junction, change to the A3 direction Zürich. Leave the motorway at the Schindellegi exit in the direction of Einsiedeln / Gotthard and enter the city of Schwyz. Take the A4 direction Gotthard / Brunnen. Leave the A4 at the Brunnen-Nord exit direction Gotthard / Lugano / Altdorf and follow the national highway toward Morschach. Public transport Landal Vierwaldstättersee is accessible by train (service to Brunnen). You can continue your journey by bus from Brunnen.
