If you've just been in Drenthe, you will surely know the answer to this question. You can't miss these giants. You see them not only in the impressive megalithic monuments, the mysterious graves of the 'happy few' of prehistoric times, but also in the yards and many gardens decorated with these silent witnesses of long ago. The best way to see Drenthe is by bicycle, as the many kilometers of bike paths take you along quaint villages and thatched-roofed farms. And naturally, a stay in Drenthe is not complete without going to the Noorder Dierenpark (Zoo) in Emmen. Also worthwhile is a trip over the border into the neighbouring province to visit the Groninger Museum.
