By car

• Coming from the main IJsselmeer causeway (Afsluitdijk):
  From Leeuwarden take the (N355), in Dokkum follow the (N361) in the direction of Lauwersoog. Keep following the signs for the direction of Lauwersoog until you see signs for Anjum. At Anjum take a right turn in the direction of Oostmahorn. Next follow the signs to Landal Esonstad.
• Coming from the direction of Almere, Joure or Utrecht:
  Take the A6 in the direction of Almere, Lelystad, Emmeloord. At the Joure interchange follow the signs for Heerenveen, Leeuwarden, and Groningen (A7). On the A7 take the Frieschepalen, Surhuisterveen, Buitenpost (N358) exit. Follow this road and via Surhuizum you will come to Buitenpost. Now follow the signs in the direction of Lauwersoog until you see signs for Anjum. At Anjum take a right turn in the direction of Oostmahorn. Next follow the signs to Landal Esonstad.
• Coming from the direction of Arnhem/Zwolle:
  On the A28 follow in the direction of Meppel. Next take the A32 in the direction of Heerenveen, and Drachten (A7). On the A7 take the Frieschepalen, Surhuisterveen, Buitenpost (N358) exit. Follow this road and via Surhuizum you will come to Buitenpost. Now follow the signs in the direction of Lauwersoog until you see signs for Anjum. At Anjum take a right turn in the direction of Oostmahorn. Next follow the signs to Landal Esonstad.

Parking

Part of the Landal Esonstad park is car-free. If you have booked a residence in the fortress town, you can park your car in the central car park. If you have booked a terp residence, you can park one car next to the residence.
