Are we going to a real castle today? Landal Klein Ruwinkel lies in the Gelderse Vallei (Gelderland valley), the magnificent area between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (Utrecht ridge) and the Veluwe. This pleasant park is a great base for trips in the neighbourhood. There is plenty of history around here: Amerongen Castle, Renswoude Castle and the famous Amersfoortse Kei (Amersfort Boulder). After all this history, its off for some culture in the Kröller-Müller Museum. Or for the natural environment of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The many attractions in the immediate surroundings, for both young and old, such as the Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen, the Dolfinarium, Burgers’ Zoo, Apenheul and Walibi World, will round your holiday off nicely.
