Holland at its best: swaying reeds beside the Rotte lakes, grazing cattle in the pasture and a church tower on the horizon. Is this really the Randstad conurbation? Surely not! Landal De Koornmolen is located here in the Green Heart, surrounded by windmills and polder ditches. The perfect base to alternate explorations of the vast polder countryside with occasional excursions to the urban dynamics of places such as Rotterdam, the city of bridges and builders, of Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo and the Boymans van Beuningen museum, and of the Koopgoot shopping mall and the De Kuip stadium. But other cities in the Holland provinces such as Gouda, Scheveningen, Den Haag, Delft, Utrecht and Amsterdam are also close by. And you definitely shouldn’t forget Madurodam!
