Ferry Service timetable
The boat leaves Texel on the hour and Den Helder on the half hour; the first boat to Texel leaves at 6.30 a.m. on weekdays and the last boat leaves from Den Helder at 9.30 p.m. You will find more information about the Texel - Den Helder Ferry Service on
www.teso.nl. It is not possible to book the ferry.
By car
From the port, follow the signs to De Koog. As you drive into De Koog, take the first turn on the left, into Epelaan. Continue along this road until the end, and then turn right. After about 300 metres you will see Landal Villapark Vogelmient on your right.
Parking
A maximum of two cars are permitted next to the villa. Additional cars can be parked in the central car park.
Public transport
If you want to go to Landal Vogelmient by public transportation then it is best to fly to Schiphol Airport and then take the train to the central station in Den Helder. The travel time from Schiphol Airport to Den Helder station takes around an hour and twenty-five minutes.
Next take bus 34 in the direction of the harbour, boat Texel. From there take the ferry-boat to ‘t Horntje (Texel). At Texel, ConneXXion takes care of the bus connections to and from De Koog. The ‘Texel Ticket’ (day ticket) is available from June till September at the box offices from the ferry terminal at Den Helder.
